Our professional and technical staff provide after hour and weekend on-call service in orthotic management for spinal trauma patients in need of thoracic, lumbar or sacral stabilization providing TLSO’s in a twenty-four to forty-eight hour period.
Custom Spinal Orthotics
- TSLO body jackets (bi-valve)
- With cervical extension provided for stable fractures at levels T7 or above
- Pre-operative moldings and fittings
- Scoliosis body jackets made of new thermoplastics
- Jewett or cash hyperextension orthoses supplied day of injury for anterior compression Fx’s.
Our services also include cervical stabilization involving Halo systems. The following are services that would be provided:
- recheck fit and pin snugness prior to discharge
- provide and apply Halo vest liner replacement
- available for assistance in halo application
- follow-up at nursing homes and other extended care facilities
- provide necessary check-up of the halo system for any pin loosening
- continued follow through with orthotic services, including immediate application of miami-J collar or Somi orhtosis, once halo system is removed
- provide additional orthotic management in conjunction with rehab team when neuromuscular damage is a result of spine injury

Custom Fitted Orthotics
We provide many Custom Fitted orthoses for fracture management. For sports medicine needs we have a large inventory of knee orthoses custom fabricated and Custom Fitted, and of course provide any type of soft Custom Fitted orthoses, knee sleeves, corsets, wrist supports, etc.

Patient Education
We provide take home care and instruction information to our patients who come to our office. For our inpatients we provide pamphlets to them and their families so they are aware of the continued care that they need to take with their orthoses once they return home. This information also includes our phone number which allows them access to our services after hours and on weekends.
A vast orthotic slide library is available for personal consultation or educational presentations.
